  • Methods and Properties of different Objects, Logical and Physical Name, Ordinal Identifiers, Object Spy, Get RO Property, Capture Screenshot, Record and Run Settings, Writing Scripts from Object Repository, Verify Object Status.

DAY 2

  • Descriptive Programming, when to go for Descriptive Programming. Types of Descriptive Programming. String Argument & Properties Collection, Identifying Object from a Collection
  • Count all Objects, Extracting specific Object, and Usage of Descriptive Programming
  • Object Repository vs. Descriptive Programming, Usage of Descriptive Programming, and Exercises on a Real Time application.

DAY 3

  • VB Scripting, uses of VBScript in QTP, Operators, Data types, Option Explicit, Msg. box Input box, Conditional Statements, Looping Statements, Programs on VB Scripting.
  • Parameterization: Data table, Local and Global Sheets, Reading and Writing data, Adding and Deleting Sheets and Columns, Import , Export External Excel Sheet to Data table. Exercise on Data table.
  • Environment Variables, Types of Environment Variables, Creating Environment Variables at Design Time, Creating Environment Variables at Runtime, Data table vs. Environment Variables. Examples.
  • Random Number, Test Parameters, Action Parameters, Action, Action Types , Re-Usable Action, External Action, Quiz.
